carpe noctum

hba live @ gbs

we were like such a real band last night.

we had a setlist:

we had people dancing. (well, okay, only that cute kid with the glow in the dark necklace and the guy who looks like he pulled a muscle at the end).

click here for a few (windows media) video clips, a bit of 'from the start' and a lot of 'lines blur'.

hba live @ gbs

thanks to amy eisenberg and gene grenci for photos and video. and thanks to the fairfield weekly, and to all of you who voted for us.

you start by counting backwards

here's a brand new tune called forward to war. i can't really think of a way to describe it aside from this: if you heard it on the radio, you'd say 'i reckon that that's gotta be the hba'. but, when you listen to it right here and now, you'll say 'that's not like anything i've ever heard them do'.

speaking of the radio, please send a polite 'play the hba' request to mail@kcrw.org. we just mailed off some disks, and if there is one radio station in the world i'd like to hear spin the hba, it's kcrw. you can listen here, if you like them, please donate, they're in the middle of their pledge drive.

roscoe

you can hear roscoe bark twice at the very end of this righteous mix of lines blur.
